poly, also known as polesuba or yotsubrah is the current developer of soygem.party. Having joined a couple months ago, he has added some features to the site and usually makes sure to respond to users concerns when brought up. He mostly works on fixxing any problems he comes across.

Poly soysona

History

Poly exclaimed his interests and consideration for a position as a developer in the shemmy after Codefag, former developer of the shemmy, announced his leave and the need for a new developer. After talks with the staff he was later hired and added a new and fixed soyquote button and the option to strip filenames. He held a Q&A under the name poly and during the time he was offline, users noticed his name closely resembled Pollyanna's (also known as Red on the sharty) and immediately went full on schizo mode and claimed Red had become a developer of the shemmy who was trying to accomplish another Soypocalypse. Angeleno later redirected the site to The Ribbit Rally after hearing the allegations and this caused the shemmy to go even more rogue. poly later cross-posted in a few sites claiming that it wasn't him who caused the redirect and denied multiple times that he was Red. He was stripped of server access ever since. Vadim later cleared out all allegations against poly and referred to him as "she", making it seem that the developer was none other than a tranny. <--- can't understand irony award

After months of working for free on the site, he has gained a lot more respect than he did compared to when he started. It got to a point where the vadim administration was put back into place due to many people missing poly, who left the staff 2 or 3 weeks beforehand. After a while he seemed to have had a lot of OC created that's centered around him.

Avatarfagging

Poly is well known for avatarfagging as Yotsuba and also occasionally avatarfags as Chito or Yuuri from Girls' Last Tour. This practice of consistently using these characters as her identity in posts received mixed reactions from the community. For some, her avatarfagging was seen as a red flag, leading to further rumors and accusations about her being trans. While some users appreciated it as a nostalgic reminder of the site's earlier days, when avatarfagging with recognizable characters was a more common aspect of the shemmy's culture.

Identity

Poly's identity has been a subject of intrigue and controversy within the community. Following her rise to the development team, she faced accusations of being Red, a wildly-known infamous figure on the soysphere who was one of the main causes of the Soypocalypse. This speculation intensified when Vadim referred to poly as "she", leading to further confusion regarding her gender identity. Despite these references, Poly has consistently maintained that she is male and not trans, THOUGH we can't trust anything she says and it's funnier this way.

polybaiting

polybaiting refers to the practice of intentionally provoking and trolling poly. Baiting her is very easy and simple. The following list outlines some popular methods of polybaiting:

• Referring to her with she/her pronouns
• Referring to her as Sobot
• Accusing her of being Red
• Expressing a desire to have sex with her
• Saying that she's built for BBC

• Making any statements perceived as homosexual by her mixed pronouns all over this page because I have no idea what this monstrosity of a person even is anymore
